HYDROCAL-1003

PURPOSE

Monitoring system SMT-EE is designed for transformer on-line diagnostics. It consists of Hydrocal device for gas-in-oil and moisturein-oil measurements, ZVCM 1001 device for bushings monitoringand SMT software for data visualization and processing. Additional signals from temperature sensors and current transformers could be use in system, what allows calculation of hot-spot and insulation ageing rate.

DESCRIPTION

Hydrocal 1003-1005 (MTE Meter Test Equipment, Switzerland) - Intelligent system for the individual measurement of dissolvedgas in oil contents:

  • hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide CO – model 1003
  • hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide CO, acetylene (C2H2),ethylene (C2H4) – model 1005

and moisture (H2O) in the insulating oil of power transformers. Hydrocal is mounted on a valve on the transformer tank,without necessity of transformer switch-off.

Graphical firmware Hydrosoft enables Hydrocal parameters setting and data reading from memory. Hydrocal is equipped with communication interfaces for connection with external systems.

Software associated with Hydrocal 1003/1005 system allows:

  • on-line, remote monitoring of all measured values,
  • trends of gas-in-oil and moisture content,
  • notifying user in case of alarm (by SMS too),
  • communication with external SCADA systems.
