Instrument transformer tester TP-100 is designed for checking of instrument transformers operating in semi-indirect and indirect systems used for making energy accounts. Checking should be done in the case of:

• carrying out acceptance, start-up, service and post-accident tests,
• when instrument transformer is damaged or verification marks are damaged or when both sides find erroneous indications or when the correct ratio is unknown (lack of rating plates).

Besides, tester can be used for checking and regulation of protection automatics components supplied from AC voltage source, as switches, current and voltage relays, overcurrent and thermal releases etc.

Instrument transformer tester enables:

• determination of angle uncertainty, current and real ratio and load of instrument transformer secondary side,
• determination and regulation of operation threshold in current and voltage release of switch,
• determination of time-current characteristic of overcurrent and thermal protection,
• determination of self times of switches and contactors,
• controlling and setting of other elements of protection automatics depended on current and voltage value,
• data archiving, analysis and transfer to computer.
