PURPOSE
Current source WPu-400 has the highest power and output current in the series of current sources type WPu. It is portable testing set designed for AC current supply of devices which need checking and regulation of systems depended on the level of current or voltage e.g. thermal releases, current transformers, overcurrent releases, primary releases etc., and especially for testing of releases in power switches type APU.
DESCRIPTION
Current source can generate currents up to several thousands amperes and has got module structure equipped with control panel, current source and hand truck enabling easy moving and transport. If it is permitted by outer circuit, the current source set can generate temporarily (15 s) 4200 A load. The source is equipped with high current terminals, supplying current from outputs 4000 A / 2,5 V or 100 A / 0,5 V alternatively. Every source should be used separately.
